About California Clock Company

The California Clock Company, formerly known as Kit-Cat Clocks, has been making the world famous Kit-Cat Clock since 1932. The CEO of the company was very passionate about education, and recruited me for an interesting UX project that had nothing to do with clocks! Fortunately, this project was not proprietary or confidential, so I can freely share the artifacts I produced. Check out the section below to learn more.

Kit-Cat Fun Adventures
Project Overview
The CEO of the California Clock Company was interested in hiring a team of UX researchers and designers to create a one-stop-shop website (just one page) for incoming university students to learn about academics, fun things to do in the area, extra-curricular activities, etc. The scope of this project would eventually include all universities, but given time constraints and limited resources, our job was to create a site just for incoming CSULB students. Since the scope of this project was quite large, we were also tasked with creating a webpage to hire interns down the line to help with the project. Thus, I designed two mock-ups for this project:
